The first few holes are ordinary. The spectacular part of the course starts from the 6th. Some holes are amazing between huge dunes and the Atlantic Ocean. The fairways look narrow, the greens tiny and the bunkers ruthless. This is a spectacular masterpiece ranked in the top 5 of the best courses in the country. |

It is a masterpiece designed by a famous Irish architect called Pat Ruddy. He is also the owner of this wonderful site. It is an unusual golf club, because there is no committee, Mr Ruddy is the only person to decide what has to be done and it is a chance for every golfer that the course is open to visitors. One of the main characteristic of the course is the bunkers bolstered by railway line sleepers. Each round of golf is varied, demanding and exciting with no weaknesses. Many holes are amongst the best in the world. Tiger Woods set the course record of 67 during a visit in 2002. |
